LOCTITE® 518
LOCTITE® 518 is an anaerobic flange sealant designed for application to rigid mating surfaces made of iron, aluminum and steel. LOCTITE 518 fills gaps up to 0.25 mm in size and forms an elastic, chemically resistant seal with high resistance to rupture or destruction. At the same time, the parts are easily disassembled even after prolonged operation. Typical applications of this product include sealing tight-fitting joints between rigid metal surfaces and flanges. It is also used as a liquid anaerobic sealant in rigid flange connections (for example, in gearboxes and engine crankcases).
