LOCTITE® SI 5699
LOCTITE® SI 5699 is an elastic silicone sealant that cures under the influence of moisture contained in the air, while forming a rigid rubber gasket. This product is intended primarily for creating seals on flanges with high oil resistance or for creating seals on rigid flanges (for example, for gearboxes and cast metal housings). The curing time of the product is 10 minutes. It is resistant to water and glycol, and is perfectly suitable for application on mechanically treated and cast surfaces.: both metal and plastic.
- Ideal for sealing all types of flange connections, including stamped sheet steel, where water resistance and glycol resistance are required.
