LOCTITE® 648

LOCTITE® 648 is a fluorescent high—strength anaerobic shaft-bushing retainer of green color with low viscosity, designed for fixing cylindrical joints. It effectively prevents loosening of the joints and the occurrence of leaks due to shock and vibration. Typical applications of the product include fixing gears and sprockets on the shafts of gearboxes, as well as rotors on the shafts of electric motors. It has excellent curing characteristics.

  • It is allowed to have minor contamination on the surface in the form of technical oils
  • Ideal for fixing parts with a gap or when they fit with tension
